simple, southwest elegance
On a warm, sunny Corrales weekend, I was able to execute on the design Jordan & Rachel imagined for their wedding day. Both of them found joy and elegance in the simple design, truly showcasing the beauty of the venue.
This wedding was held at the Old San Ysidro Church in Corrales, NM. A building that’s stood for over 100 years, honoring the Catholic roots of New Mexican southwest culture.
With a scaled back wedding party and guest list, the numbers may have been few, but the beauty of the couple and their families married well with the design of the interior of the venue.
This design was accomplished as a test run for Newton Seddings. Imagining venue spaces in the virtual world, helping couples visualize the dreams of their dream day. The venue only had red chairs, modeling virtual white chairs into digital 3D model of the venue, the couple was able to decide upon white chairs to elevate the ambiance.
The staff of Newton Seddings was also able to know exactly how interior decor was to be placed, alleviating last minute design concerns. Given the short delivery window on the design prior to wedding day, not all designs were able to be discussed and added. However, we at Newton Seddings were able to craft a unique experience outside of the model, and surprise the couple in little ways with special touches to make there day more memorable.
With our digital modeling capability, we can design any piece of decor digitally to help you understand the atmosphere you create for your guests and how you want to celebrate the union of two families!
